Confusion while shopping

Tonight, I was shopping at a retail store and things suddenly went wrong! I was standing down the cleaning products aisle. I was searching for a bathroom cleaner. I found the cleaner and put it in my shopping cart.
All of a sudden, I felt as if I was frozen and I couldn't move or speak. I was aware of people around me, but I felt like I was in a tunnel. Then it felt like I had spaced out and it was very scary for me. It felt as though I was in a tunnel, unable to respond to the world around me. If I had been able to do so, I think that I would have asked someone for help. I was very aware that this was happening and I was shopping alone in the store. While this was happening to me, I could see some people near me, but they were very blurry. This could have lasted for several minutes, or perhaps it was even less than a minute. At first, this definitely scared me, but I just tried to stay calm until it passed. I don’t have any idea of know how long it lasted, but I was happy when it was over.
Once I was able to feel somewhat normal and I was out of the tunnel, it took a few minutes for me to get my bearings, realize where I was, which way I needed to go down the aisle. I was a little confused but I felt a lot better than I did.
After all the confusion cleared out of my brain, I was able to finish my shopping and go to my car. I decided to write down the details before I forgot them. I sat in my car, found a piece of paper and I wrote the date and some of the details of what just happened. After I drove home, I added a few more details to the paper.
When I got home, I was fine, but I was a little shaken by this experience! This was so very scary for me! I only remember this happening once before. I hope that it doesn’t happen again.
