Forgetting to step up on the curb

I parked in the parking lot in front of a doughnut shop. Then I stepped up on the curb and went inside. I bought a muffin and walked outside and stepped down on the curb. I sat in my car and ate the muffin. Then I opened my car door to go throw out my trash. The next thing I knew, I had fallen up onto the curb and had fallen face first on the pavement. I had forgotten all about the curb, so I forgot to step up. Boy, did that hurt!
