I was food shopping after work and I saw a young girl who was smiling at me. At first, I had trouble remembering her. We walked towards each other and when we got close to each other, she said something to me. I don’t think that I said anything to her because I didn’t recognize her. A short time later, something clicked in my brain and I was able to say hello to her using her name. Then I remembered that her and my daughter have been friends for many years and she had spent a lot of time at my home with my daughter. I told her that sometimes I have problems with my memory. I'm glad that I felt comfortable talking to her. That way if I see her again and I can't remember her or her name, she will understand. Now I don’t remember what she said to me.
