I couldn't remember the number on my house

While I was working as a cashier, I was talking to a customer who lives on the same street as me. She wanted to know what number I lived at and I just couldn't remember it. I could remember the street name but not the number. A short time later after she left my register, I was able to remember the number.

I moved about two years ago and sometimes I can’t remember my new address.
