Two days ago, I tried to figure out why my brain seemed like it wasn't functioning right. Luckily it improved on Sunday when I wasn't working. Then I looked at a calendar and I realized that I had just worked thirteen days in a row! I need to make sure that I have at least one day off each week. Working too much definitely affects my cognition in a negative way. I really need to figure out a way that I can balance work with time off. I need to work enough to pay my bills and have a little savings in the bank for emergencies. I need to find a way to cut back my work hours because this is getting very challenging working seven days a week, which includes two jobs. I have noticed with working too many hours that there is much more “fog” in my brain! The fog seems to arrive at least once every other day, but some weeks it happens each day and sometimes several times each day. This is really not something that I want to deal with! The fog arrives while working both of my jobs and while I'm at home. I really need to make some changes with my work schedule, but it might take me some time to figure it all out.
