Confusion at the gas stationCheryl StevensonApr 6, 20111 min readUpdated: Sep 17, 2021April 5, 2011 I was driving home after a very long day at work. I worked six and a half hours at an elementary school and four hours as a cashier at a retail store. I was feeling very tired and I just couldn't wait to get home. After I got off my exit to go home, I decided to fill up my gas tank. It is in the same town that I live in and it is a new gas station. I drive by this station at least once a day but I have never stopped there. While I was pumping the gas, I was trying to get my bearings. I was looking around the parking lot, so that I could figure out which way that I needed to turn out of the parking lot in order to head towards home. I figured out that I needed to turn left out of the parking lot. I seemed a little confused but I was able to get home okay. I live only about five to ten minutes from this gas station. I think that the reason that I felt this way was because I'm working too many hours. I really have to find a way to change this so that I can function better.
