Getting a little lost in a retail store

Today, after working at school, I went to a retail store to do some shopping. I had to go to the back of the store in the electronics department. This is not the store that I work in, but a different location. I have also shopped here before. For some reason, while I was shopping today, I had a problem finding the registers at the front of the store, while I was in the electronics department. I don't remember having this problem before. It was a little scary for me, but I somehow found my way towards the registers. This wasn't even a very large store. It has very little food and is a much smaller store than I work in.
