Slow processing speed

I was working at both of my jobs and I was noticing some difficulty. It seemed as though my brain’s processing speed was much slower than usual. I was also having difficulty with word retrieval, but I don’t know if that is what was slowing my brain down. I noticed that there were actual pauses in my conversations with people.

On a more positive note, this week at school I found out from the fourth-grade teachers that the students in my reading small group are making wonderful gains! It just proves that I CAN still do my job and most days I do it well! This just made my whole week! I also got some positive feedback from a second-grade teacher. She told me that the student who I've been working with on reading has made some amazing progress! I'm so very proud of all the hard work that my students have done and I'm so happy that what I'm doing is working!
