Not remembering what day it was

While working at a retail store today I noticed that I had to keep reminding myself that it was Friday. That way I could tell my customers that I hope that they have a nice weekend. I noticed that sometimes when I was trying to do this, I forgot what I wanted to say, right in the middle of the sentence. Luckily, most of the time, I was able to recover quickly and figure out what I wanted to say.
