Does my boyfriend notice that anything is wrong with my cognition?

Last weekend, when I was with my boyfriend, who I’ve been seeing for about six weeks, I asked him to be very honest about something and he said that he always would do that. I asked him if I hadn’t told him about my diagnosis, would he know that there was something wrong? He said that he probably would have had some questions for me. He said that he has noticed that I sometimes repeat myself. He never tells me that I’m telling him the same thing again because he just seems to listen as though it is the first time, he has heard it. He said that he doesn’t tell me when I seem foggy because he doesn’t want me to feel bad and he said that he will never do that to me.
My boyfriend also knows that I sometimes have problems with comprehension. He told me that if I don’t understand something to just let him know and he will try to explain it in a different way to help me understand.
I’m simply amazed that after only six short weeks, he seems to “get it”. He seems to understand what is happening to me.
