The “fog” must have rolled in

While talking to my friend on the phone, I noticed that my brain was a little foggy. When I tried to say some words, some of them just didn't sound right. For some reason I was not pronouncing them the right way. Some other words were okay. Sometimes I would say a word that almost sounded right, but it still sounded a little funny to both of us.

I told her “My brain isn't working so well” and that I probably should hang up. We said goodnight and then we hung up.
