Having fog while watching TV

This past Saturday evening my boyfriend and I were sitting on my couch, watching a Christmas movie on tv. I think that we had been watching it for a while. A short time later, the fog seemed to roll in and I started looking around my living room, at the walls and ceiling. He noticed this and was concerned so he asked, “are you okay?” I told him that I just had to figure out where I was because I felt a little lost. Once I knew where I was, I explained to him what it was like for me to be in this fog.
When I’m in this fog and he talks to me, it’s as if I’m in a tunnel and he is on the other end talking to me. It feels as though there is a lot of distance between us, even though we might be sitting right next to each other. Another way that I explained it is, think about an alarm clock ringing at 6:30 am, but you don’t fully wake up for another few minutes, in order to shut it off. You can hear the alarm, but it is off in the distance.
When this was happening to me, I was fully aware of it. I knew that I was in a bit of fog and I just waited for it to pass. I think that it only lasted a few minutes and then I was back to myself. So far, this week has been going well. Little or no fog is always good!
