Dating while living with a memory impairment

My boyfriend and I went to visit my mom. It is about an hour drive. I remember asking him once or twice if he wanted me to drive. I was asking him because I know that he doesn’t like driving at night. He started getting mad at me!

We have talked about this and he said that he was angry because he thought that I wasn’t happy with his driving. I told him that I was okay with his driving and I explained to him that I only remembered asking him once or twice. He said that he was sorry.

I know that there are many details that I probably forget during each day, but there are times that it doesn't really impact me because I'm not aware of it.
