Busy patterns are causing confusion!

I don’t remember very busy patterns on clothing being a problem or bothering me before, but recently I became aware of this. I will usually try on clothing before buying it, but I don’t usually buy anything with a busy pattern on it. They just seem to confuse and drive my brain crazy!

The other day, I tried on two different tops. One top was white with black dots and one was white with black stripes. I noticed that when I tried on the white with black dots top and looked in the mirror, it was too busy for me to deal with. When I tried on the striped top, the pattern was a little less busy, so it worked for me. I only bought the stiped top.
