Watching home improvement shows as if they are shown live and not taped

I’m not really sure when this happened, but I think that this happened recently. Sometimes I like to watch home improvement shows. Some episodes were thirty minutes and some were one hour long. I noticed that on this particular day, I would look at the clock and if there was only fifteen minutes left to the show, I would say in my head, “I don’t think they are going to finish this project in time.” For some reason, I thought that it was in “real time” rather than a taped program.

I’m pretty sure that this was happening quite frequently with me, but I told no one. Luckily soon after this happened, I was able to figure it out. I remembered that it was a taped show and they were going to finish the project.

I’m guessing that this was happening because there was lots of fog in my brain, but when I’m clear, I remember and understand that it is a taped show.
