Another challenging day using my washing machine

Earlier today, I put the laundry detergent and the laundry in the washing machine. Then I got busy doing other things around my apartment. Later, I realized the washer had stopped, so I went to hang up my tops for work. It wasn’t until I was hanging up the last top, that I realized the clothes were dry. So, I thought to myself, I’m not sure what happened but I thought that the clothes had been washed. I'm not sure if I ever heard it running but I just assumed that it was. I must have forgotten to turn the knob to start the washing machine.

I guess this could happen to almost anyone, but I think most people would figure out the problem long before hanging up the last piece of clothing to dry, but for me it was not so easy to figure it out. I had a good laugh about this. Then I started the washing machine the right way this time. I guess my brain just didn’t connect the fact that the clothes should have been wet when I was hanging them up. Life sure is fun and living with MCI keeps me on my toes. Then again, there are times when my three children think that there is nothing wrong with my brain. If only that was true.
