Challenges with my new apron

I work two jobs, one in a school in special education and a cashier at a retail store. As a cashier, I wear a blue apron at the register and it has lots of pockets to hold my glasses, and pens, etc. The first apron that the store gave me had lots of holes in it after using it for many years. Recently, I bought a new apron at a craft store.
The old apron had really long ties so I would wrap it around the back then around the front and I tied it at the waist. It stayed on really well this way. The new apron seems like the ties are a little shorter, so the first time that I wore it, I tied it in the back. At the end of my shift, I found that it was very difficult for me to try to untie this from the back. I just can’t figure out how to untie it when I can’t see it! Even though the ties are a little shorter, I decided to tie it in the front in order to make it easier for me. I think that I will continue to tie this apron in the front because that seems to work for me.
I will continue to adapt to my life, as changes with this memory impairment seem to happen. I know that this is not a big problem, but it would have been something that stressed me out and made me frustrated. I try to lessen my stress rather than increase it. My life is still very good and I'm very happy!
