How could I forget that the Red Sox won The World Series last season?

The other day, my boyfriend and I were watching the Boston Red Sox. This is something that we both enjoy doing. The Boston Red Sox are my favorite team to watch. On this particular night, he told me that he thought the team that the Red Sox were playing they beat in the World Series. Since I hadn’t remembered last year’s World Series, I asked him if he meant last season and he said yes. I told him that I knew that they had won the World Series, but I didn’t remember exactly which year it was. He asked me if I remembered the parade they had. I asked him if we had gone to the parade and he said no. I guess we watched it on tv. I think that I remember parts of the parade, but I hadn’t really remembered that this memory was from last season.

I told him that for me, one day just rolls into the next and the days and months seem to roll along into years. It is getting difficult for me to figure out when certain memories really happened. This is not something that I can change, so I just have to learn to get used to it. Although this is just something else that makes me sad.
