My confusion

Earlier today, I was on my way to a graduation party. I stopped at a food store to pick up a few things. There was an agency that was collecting food for children. As I was going in the door, I stopped at their table and asked them what they needed. They handed me a list that was broken down by the aisle where the products could be found. As I was shopping for the items on the list, it said "canned pasta". I kept reading this on the list and it didn't register with my brain, so I looked down the aisle at the signs on the shelves. All I could think of was boxes of pasta, not cans. Suddenly, I saw a "canned pasta" sign on the shelf and it had cans of spaghetti. I'm so glad that there were signs to help me. It really helped me to figure this out.
