About the fog

This past Thursday I was at my boyfriend's home and we were in the kitchen making dinner. It had been a good day for me until I suddenly realized that the fog had rolled in. He and I were talking and then I said, “I have no clue what I meant by no”, when I said it to him. I guess that I had forgotten what we were talking about but I could not explain that to him. He tried to help me by telling me that no meant the opposite of yes and I told him that I already knew that.

He went into the living room and I started thinking about what happened. Then I remembered something that only moments earlier I couldn’t explain to him. I went into the living room and I asked him to pause the DVD that he had just started playing for us. I told him that I think that I figured things out. I explained to him that when we were in the kitchen, I lost track of our conversation and what we were talking about.

He told me that I should have told him that and I explained that the words weren’t there a few minutes ago but I just remembered them. Then he told me what we were talking about. Now it all made sense to me. I just HATE when this happens because I know that this is not just affecting me, but also him.
