Forgetting things so quickly

Yesterday afternoon, before leaving work, I wrote myself a short to do list, for places that I needed to stopat on my way home. I first opened the driver's door, put my water bottle in the cup holder and I dropped the note there also. But just seconds later, I was putting my lunchbox on the back seat and I was wondering what I did with the note! I hadn't remembered where I left it, or that I even brought it out to my car after work. After I closed the car door, I got into the driver's seat and I saw my note. I couldn't believe that I forgotten so quickly where it was, but this is what happens to me sometimes!
Later after running all my errands, I got home and opened my mail. I got some tickets in the mail so I went into my bedroom and I found an envelope that held some tickets to a show that I had recently purchased. I had to exchange two of the tickets, due to some surgery that I'm having next month. I ripped up the old tickets and I put the new tickets in the envelope. A short time later, I went to put the tickets back in my bedroom. I looked in the envelope and panicked because there should have been three tickets in there. I also bought one ticket for another show and this one I didn't need a new ticket for. I was getting upset and I tried to relax! Then I checked the trash bag and there I found three tickets that I ripped up, but only two tickets were unusable. I found the two parts to the ticket that I shouldn't have ripped up or thrown out. I was so relieved to find the ticket and I taped it back together. I made sure that all three tickets were now in the envelope, and I put them in my bedroom. Two of these tickets were for a show that my friend and I are going to. I decided to write on my wipe-off calendar under the date that we are going to this show, where I put the tickets.
I think that when I usually buy tickets for this theater, I call the theater and pay for them. I usually have them hold them at the box office for me and that has always worked out well for me. That way I don't have to worry about losing or forgetting where I put them, or forgetting to bring them to the show.
I feel so stupid when these things happen! How can I forget things so quickly? Poof!! It is somehow gone!” I know that it is not my fault because I can't help it. I have something wrong with my brain.
Last night seemed to continue as my afternoon did. My friend and I were talking on the phone. All of a sudden, I started rubbing my head and I said that it hurt. She asked me if I had a headache and I said no. I touched where my head hurt and I felt a little bump. I told my friend and she asked me if I remembered banging it and I said no. I tried to figure out how I could have hurt my head, but I just couldn't remember. I tried to remember my day at school and how I could have hurt my head, but I really couldn't remember anything that could have caused it. I wished that I could figure out how I hurt my head but I probably will never know how this happened. It is so very weird for me to have a bump on my head and not know how, where or when it happened! So very strange!
This is something that probably isn't going to get better and I just need to find ways to deal with it. Sometimes it is just hard for me to not feel stupid when I can't remember something just moments later! It can be very frustrating! I just wanted to explain to people what it is like for me. I know that I'm not stupid, but sometimes it is hard to not feel that way. I also lose things all the time. Luckily, I forget what I lost.
