(Chapter 3 Memory Problems & Chapter 26 MCI Tool Box in my book)

Last month, I got a music player from my family. I am enjoying using it, but it is challenging for me to figure out how to put the music onto the player. One day, I can remember the steps and the next day, I don't have a clue!

The other day, I was able to figure out how to put music onto the player. I decided that as I added more music, I would type out the steps. This document is now saved on my laptop. It is in a folder titled “How to”. Now, if I forget, I can refer to this document and be successful!

This is just one of the things that I have to do because I have a memory impairment. Having this document will make it possible for me to add music to my player. I won't stress out over it because I can't figure it out. This should lesson my frustration.

I also know that over the past ten or more years it is usually challenging for me to learn something new. Sometimes, I am successful and sometimes I'm not. I think that will depend on how many steps it will take and also how my comprehension is. Sometimes, no matter how many times I read directions and/or have someone else explain it to me, I still won't understand it.
