(Chapter 3 Memory Problems in my book)
Last night we had a big snowstorm. Unfortunately, the many inches of snow covered some very slippery ice that was in my driveway. I had just had shoulder surgery in December. Because the ice got covered by the snow, this could really be a major problem for me. Recently while I was talking to a friend on the phone, I told her about the snow and ice that was in my driveway and how I was afraid of falling. She kept reminding me about the ice, but I just couldn't remember. She was so afraid that if I went outside, I would fall down on the ice. She told me to write a note and tape it on the sliding glass door going outside. It read, “BE CAREFUL! There is ice UNDER the snow!" I am hoping that this helps.
UPDATE: The next day I realized that this sign was too long and a shorter one would work much better for my brain. I took the other sign down and I made another one. The new sign read, "ICE! Be Careful!"
