Living with a Memory Impairment

I wish that more people understood what it is like to live with a memory impairment. I think that when most people hear about someone living with a memory impairment that they think that it only affects a person's memory! It affects so much more than that! It also greatly affects someone's relationships. For me, my symptoms started with my memory. I was also constantly repeating myself, struggled with word retrieval and I got lost in familiar places.

I think that what has changed for me since my diagnosis nine and a half years ago, is my problems with my comprehension.
