Not remembering where I usually put something

(Chapter 3 Memory Problems in my book)

The other day, my boyfriend, was looking for the remote control for my fan. He said that it wasn't in the “usual place”. I just had to laugh and say to him, “I'm not really sure that I remember where the usual place is.” Then he explained that I usually keep it on the right arm of the couch. I ended up finding it on the kitchen table. It could have been anywhere! Oh boy! Sometimes I do remember where I keep the remote to the fan and sometimes I do not. It is pretty random what I can remember and what I can't.
