(Chapter 14 Comprehension Problems in my book)
I live with a memory impairment. With that said, I have problems with my short-term memory and my comprehension. Sometimes words just don't make sense to me.
Yesterday, I was struggling with understanding what my Mom was telling me on the phone. My stubbornness tends to make me not give up easily, so that works for me, but for some reason yesterday, these were my thoughts. Sometimes it would be so much easier if I didn't have to talk to people. Perhaps I wouldn't feel so stressed out and frustrated. I actually couldn't believe that these words were in my head. I'm very much a “people person”, so I really love spending time with people. Luckily, today is a new day and I have a different outlook! I think that the reason that I was feeling this way is because sometimes living with a memory impairment can be difficult to deal with.
