My frustration with adding music to my music player

(Chapter 3 Memory Problems in my book)

Last week I was trying to add music from my laptop to my music player. I got this player for Christmas in 2014, so I have been using it for a little more than a year. I think that I probably add music about every few months. Because this is something that I don't do often, it is difficult to get it into my long-term memory. After the first time that I added music onto the music player, I typed up a document with the steps, and kept it on my laptop. But for some reason, on this particular day, these notes didn't help me at all. For some reason this document didn't make sense to me.

After quite a few failed attempts at adding music to my music player, the frustration got the better of me! I sat and cried!

I know that it is not my fault that these things happen to me, but it still makes me feel stupid! Sometimes I can be stubborn, which I guess is a good thing, because it means that I don't give up easily. Once I calmed down, I looked under the help section on the media library for my player and I followed the directions and I added the music to my player. I was pretty happy that I was finally able to do this! I tried to copy and paste these notes from the media library onto my document, but that was not an option, so instead I had to type each word that I saw. Then I edited my notes on my computer, so hopefully next time it will be easier for me to do this task.

It can become so frustrating for me when I know that I've done something before, but at this moment in time, I just can't figure it out. I continue to find ways to help myself in order to lessen my frustration! On the desktop on my laptop, I have a folder that is titled “How To”.
