(Chapter 6 Living with a Memory Impairment & Chapter 19 Music, Photos and Videos in my book)

The other night, I went to a Chicago/Earth, Wind and Fire Concert by myself. I had never seen either of these groups before, so I really didn't want to miss it. I have been to this venue many, many times over the past ten years, so I know my way around pretty well and I can manage going on my own without any problems.

While I was sitting in my seat, waiting for the concert to begin, I wished that I had a piece of paper and a pen so that I could journal my thoughts. I will try to remember what I was thinking. While I was sitting alone, waiting for the concert to start, I was very excited and these were my thoughts. Sometimes my Mom doesn't understand why I love 70's music so much. I think that it was the music that I listened to while I was growing up. The music and lyrics are in my long-term memory and that is a good thing. It makes me happy when I hear this music because it reminds me of what I can still remember, rather than stress out about forgetting things only minutes after they have been said. I took lots of pictures and videos at this concert. These will be the things that I can look at and experience this concert all over again, if I forget that I was at this concert. I had a great time making new memories!
