Why taking pictures and videos are important to me

A few weeks ago, I went to a concert by myself. I just loved it! In thinking about this night, I feel like I took lots more pictures and videos than most people who were there.

I asked myself, “why?”. I think that it must be because I live with a memory impairment. I want to hold onto these memories for as long as I can. The photos and videos that I take have become much more important to me than they were many years ago. That is because if I forget about this special night and any other special time, I will always have these videos and photos to remind me. These pictures and videos are able to fill in the gaps that my memory now has.
