Using a new blender

Recently, I purchased a new blender because my other one kept leaking. It is very different from my old blender that I had a glass or plastic pitcher that sits on a base where the motor and all the buttons to control it are.

My new blender came with three different size bases to use. The motor sits on the top, so I had to follow the directions very carefully. As I was doing this, I wondered if I could figure it all out, but it was rather easy to do. I'm so glad that this new blender was simple for me to follow the directions to help me use it correctly. I'm pretty sure that for a while, until I get used to using it, that I will need to use the directions. That is okay, as long as I can figure it out, it is all good. Since I probably won't use this all the time, it might be challenging the next time that I use it. Only time will tell whether this will work out the next time that I use it. That is because my cognition is so different from one day to the next.
