Not knowing exactly when something happened, but knowing that it did happen

(Chapter 6 Living with a Memory Impairment in my book)

Sometimes I can remember that something happened, but I can't really remember exactly when it happened. I can't narrow it down to whether it happened a day, one week ago, or longer. My concept of time seems to be a little off.
