(Chapter 18 Problem Solving and Making Decisions in my book)
The other day, my boyfriend and I decided to go to the movies. I usually bring a tote instead of a purse and bring two water bottles with us. We usually buy the popcorn, but the last few times we've gone, we weren't happy with it, so we decided to bring that with us as well.
Before we left, I popped a box of microwave movie popcorn. Then I said to him, “This box won't fit in my bag.” He said that I could just put the popcorn in something else.
For some reason, this is not something that I could figure out easily like he did. That is so strange how that happens! I put the popcorn in two brown paper bags and I put it in my bag with the waters and off to the movies we went.
A lot of the times, I can problem solve and everything is okay, but there are other times, like the popcorn, that it is not a “no brainier” for me. I wished that it was, but unfortunately, I can't do anything to change that. I'm just glad that he was able to help me with it and that he did not make me feel stupid that I couldn't.
