Where did the dustpan go?

(Chapter 4 Finding the Humor in my book)

I was sweeping my kitchen floor before washing it. I had already filled the dustpan once and emptied it into the trash barrel. After I finished sweeping another area of the room, I looked for the dustpan. I was baffled because I had just used it moments ago. Then I looked down and realized that it was attached to the bottom of the broom. Oh my! I forgot that I had done that.
