(Chapter 9 The Fog in my book)

I think that this is a very typical symptom of mild cognitive impairment. Sometimes things can seem fine, then suddenly the "fog" will roll in and I can't even figure out how to use my LIP BALM! There have even been times when I have gone shopping and came home and I didn't recognize my own apartment. It can be scary, but since I've been dealing with this since before my diagnosis in 2005, I've had time to adjust to this new life of living with a memory impairment.
