I think that I'm the type of person who would rather face something head on, rather than not deal with it. In 2005 when I was diagnosed, denial did sneak in for a short time. When I got my diagnosis, I also felt a sense of relief, because I knew that there was something wrong. It made me realize that I wasn't going crazy.
