(Chapter 23 Living with a memory impairment and being a Nana in my book)

I've had a few days to think about the fact that my daughter didn't ask me to babysit my two-month-old twin granddaughters. I'm trying to remember that my daughter is only trying to do what is best for her babies. It is just so difficult for me to realize that she is trying to protect my granddaughters from "ME". This is really difficult! I know in some way; I'm taking this personally. It is hard for me not to do so. My daughter told me that she is concerned about me taking care of the babies alone due to my memory problems and the "fog." I just never saw this coming! I think that I'm still in shock that this happened!
