Babysitting the twins

(Chapter 23 Living with a memory impairment and being a Nana in my book)

Today I went to my daughter's house and I babysat my two-month-old twin granddaughters while she went to a dentist appointment. The twins were cranky off and on, but I was able to get them both to go to sleep for a while. I think that my daughter was only gone for about an hour. While she was gone, everything was fine with the babies. I was able to take care of both of them without any problems.

Before I left to go home, she asked me if I could babysit Ava for a while tomorrow because she had to take Ellie to an appointment. She told me what time she needed me and I said that I would be there. I'm so glad that she is trusting me to watch the babies even if it is for short increments. Hopefully if things continue to go well, my babysitting time will be extended. This makes me so happy!
