My thoughts about living with a memory impairment

I know that I can't do anything to fix my brain, so I have learned how to deal with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). I can't change the fact that I have a memory impairment or the way my brain functions. Instead, I have learned how to live with the symptoms. I didn’t choose to have this diagnosis. There is lots of living to do after a diagnosis and I am proof of that!
