How voting has changed for me

(Chapter 14 Comprehension Problems in my book)

Today I voted! Although this task has changed for me, I still enjoy casting my ballot. It has changed because if there are questions on the ballot, I will read them and if I don’t understand it, then I will not vote yes or no. Because of the memory impairment, my comprehension is greatly affected. I feel strongly about being an informed voter but if I don't understand what I'm voting for, it is best for me to not vote on that question.

I live in a small town and sometimes there are questions on the ballot. A lot of times it is just too much text for me to read, remember and comprehend.

I don't think that I would ever ask anyone for help. I think that if I was to do that, I might get frustrated with not being able to understand something. It is just not worth the stress! I do the best that I can and that will have to be enough!
