My lack of short term memory

(Chapter 3 Memory Problems in my book)

My short-term memory is most challenging. I can remember the details of something that happened thirty or forty years ago, but sometimes I can't remember talking to my daughter on the phone two days ago. There have been times when I don't recognize someone who I have known for over thirty years but a short time later I can usually figure it out on my own.
