Sometimes every day objects look different to me

(Chapter 6 Living with a Memory Impairment in my book)

I think that sometimes when I look at an everyday object, it doesn't look right to me, but sometime later it will look okay. It is almost as if my brain can't process what it is. I don't think that I have any problems with smells or taste.
