(Chapter 2 Acceptance and Denial in my book)

What does it look like if you accept the diagnosis? For me. I try to focus on what I still can do since mild cognitive impairment invaded my life, rather than what I can no longer do. When I was diagnosed, I did go through a short time of denial. That definitely wasn’t like me because I would rather know what I’m dealing with rather than ignore the symptoms. Then find ways of dealing with it.
