Trying to figure out how to use a car air vent holder for my new cell phone

Last week, after I got my new cell phone, I decided to go online and order some accessories for it. I ordered some screen protectors, a phone case and a car air vent holder. A couple of days ago the phone case and holder arrived in the mail. After I opened up the package, I figured out how to put the phone case on without a problem. Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing about the holder. The car air vent holder came with a little instruction booklet plus three pieces. I tried to figure out what to do with these pieces, but I was unsure of what to do. I decided to take it with me to my daughter's so that she could help me. The only part that I knew what to do with was the car mount that went in my vent, but I didn't really know how that attached to my cell phone. My daughter took the car mount and attached it to my phone. It was done in a matter of seconds! I asked her what the two extra pieces were for and she said that was for a different type of mounting.

After I got home from my daughter's house, I decided to look at the instruction booklet again. When I did this, I noticed that the instructions were different when you flipped the booklet over. It explained to me what the two extra pieces were for. They were to be used if I didn't have a case with a magnet on the back.

I sure hate when I can't figure things out, but rather than continue to be frustrated I chose to ask my daughter for help. That was the best thing that I needed to do for me. It is not worth it for me to get stressed out about something when I can just ask someone to help me.
