Stress and living with a memory impairment

I know that in 2005 when I was diagnosed, my first neurologist told me that stress usually makes the memory impairment much worse. Over time, I have known this to be true. He said that I should find ways of reducing my stress. I continue to live my life and removing stress from it when I realize that it is a problem.
