Why am I forgetting to shut off the lights when I leave a room?

Lately I have noticed that when I leave a room, I am leaving the light on. This is not like me at all and I don't really know why it is happening. I don't know why I am forgetting to shut the light off as I leave the room. It is very frustrating to have to keep going back to shut it off. I moved about seven months ago so I don't know if that is why this is happening. I just can't wait for this to stop! I am so aggravated with myself!
