Bad dreams related to living with a memory impairment

(Chapter 10 Dreams and Living with a Memory Impairment in my book)

Since living with the symptoms of mild cognitive impairment (MCI), I noticed that I have had quite a few dreams related to this memory impairment. The dreams usually involve me getting lost. I usually wake up and remember the dream and even though I know that it is just a dream, it can be upsetting for me. That is probably because this dream has happened to me in real life and could happen again at any time.
