Not remembering that I took certain pictures & videos

Today I uploaded some pictures from my camera to my computer. I had taken some of them last month and some as recently as two days ago. As I looked at the pictures and videos, I realized that some of them I didn’t remember taking. They were the ones that I took two days ago. They were photos and videos of my two granddaughters. It makes me sad when I realize how quickly I forget something. Luckily when I’m with them I usually take lots of pictures and videos. That is so important because it helps me to relive those memories through them. Some of the pictures and videos from two days ago I do remember, but some I don’t remember taking at all. I’m so thankful that I usually bring my camera when I’m going to be spending time with my granddaughters. My camera puts a date on the picture file. Living with a memory impairment sure makes things interesting!
