What do you do if a spouse says they understand but when things happen with your MCI brain, they are

I would sit them down and really talk about what they are doing and saying that is bothering you. I think that you need to be clear with them. You can't change the way your brain functions but your spouse can and should change their behavior.

They need to get educated on what it is like to live with a memory impairment. You probably could help them with this and let them know how they can help you.
