It makes me so sad if I am reminded of the memories that I no longer remember

I saw this on social media, “The most beautiful things in life are not things. They are people, places, memories and pictures. They are feelings, moments, smiles and laughter.”

This is so very true, but it is very sad when someone can't remember those special memories. It does make me wonder how much I have forgotten due to the memory impairment. I have young grandchildren and I wonder what memories they will hold that I will have forgotten.
