When I was in a long-term relationship these were some of the ways that my boyfriend helped me. If we went to a big venue such as a major league ballpark, he would always offer to go with me if I needed to leave my seat for anything. I would always be happy for the support. He never questioned why I needed him with me. If I needed to go to the ladies’ room, he would help me find it. He was always waiting for me outside the ladies’ room. When we needed to get some food, we would go together. I know that if I had done either or both of these things on my own, I would probably not be able to find my way back to my seat.
